Mr5 Restaurant Group
The Challenge
Every price change, seasonal dish, or sold-out item meant reprinting hundreds of menus. The delays and recurring costs were a constant operational drain for the restaurant group.
Post-pandemic customers expected contactless dining experiences. Physical menus passing between tables created hygiene concerns and friction — a poor first impression for a modern restaurant brand.
Serving a diverse clientele with varying language preferences, the restaurant had no way to offer a multilingual menu experience — limiting accessibility and the quality of service for non-Arabic and non-English speakers.
The Solution
We built a responsive digital menu web application using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS with shadcn/ui components. Customers scan a QR code to access the menu on their phones, with smooth navigation, category filtering, and an elegant design that matches the restaurant's brand.
