01 — The challenge
Michel Yammine, a prestigious Lebanese perfumery established in 1970, needed a modern e-commerce platform to bring their luxury fragrance expertise online while maintaining the personalized boutique experience their customers expect.
A prestigious perfumery with 50+ years of heritage had no online presence. Customers could only purchase in-store, limiting reach beyond their physical locations in Lebanon.
The boutique's greatest asset — personalized fragrance consultations from expert perfumers — couldn't translate to a standard e-commerce experience.
In a market flooded with counterfeit fragrances, customers had no way to verify authenticity when buying online. Trust was the biggest barrier to digital sales.

We built a full-featured luxury e-commerce platform with Next.js featuring AI-powered scent quiz recommendations, advanced product filtering by gender and category, same-day delivery integration, cash-on-delivery support, and SEO-optimized structured data for maximum visibility.
A guided quiz translates fragrance families, notes, and mood into personalized recommendations, recreating an in-store consultation online.
Every listing carries distributor sourcing and batch information, addressing counterfeit concerns head-on in a market flooded with fakes.
Orders placed before 2 PM sync directly with the delivery workflow, closing the gap between browsing and receiving a bottle in hand.
Structured data on every fragrance page improves discoverability for gender, category, and brand searches across Lebanon.
